Goal

NEO Rats Mission Statement:

At Neo rats we believe in breeding for the overall quality of the Fancy Rat. Our goal is to breed better, healthier animals over it's previous generation. Our rats should have nothing but outstanding personalities, and those who display any kind of behavioral problems will not be used in our breeding program.

The goals of NEO rattery involving type focus mainly on coats. We’d like to work towards tighter curl in rexes, and plusher coats in double rexes, with less sparsity of the coat overall. We will also be focusing on satin and satin-rexes.

Ear set focus will remain mainly dumbo, as there is also much room for improvement in the set, and shape of the dumbo rat. However, to achieve this, a number of standard eared rats will also be available. While attempting to improve the dumbo ear set, we intend to maintain a high standard for our top eared rats.
